Program Director

Trish Fogarty loves outdoor education! She majored in biology at SUNY Geneseo, and later spent her summers as at camp as an Adventure Director. She then spent two amazing years as an Educator and School Program Assistant at Sargent Center. Now as the Program Director at Nature’s Classroom, she oversees the program team. On weekends can often be found on a New Hampshire trail with her dog Otis!

Program Coordinator Yarmouth Port, MA

Nicholas Dahinden joined Nature's Classroom in 2004. He'd never been to New England but quickly fell in love with the ocean and the mountains and the people. He spent many years as a teacher and a program coordinator. Before that, he was a Peace Corps volunteer and studied wildlife biology at the University of Montana. Somewhere along the way he hiked the Appalachian trail, swam in the Indian Ocean, and learned how to juggle. Oh, by the way, most people call him NickyD and you can too!

Program CoordinatoR Nature on Wheels

Steve Shanley still can't believe that he gets to go to Nature's Classroom every week! It's been that way since 2014, but never gets old. With field trips still on the fritz, he's helping bring Nature's Classroom to schools with the Nature On Wheels program. In the off-season, he’s often traveling, playing hockey, or eating a long breakfast.
